With a Ph.D. in economics, Dr. Thomas J. Steffanci has more than 30 years of experience in investment management and portfolio strategy. He brings extraordinary investment experience, discipline, a long-term strategy perspective and a wealth of industry knowledge to Glencrest and its investment management process.
As a Fidelity Investments portfolio manager and Director of Fixed Income, he is one of the few people in the world to have been responsible for managing $100 billion in mutual fund assets. Most recently, Tom served as managing director and principal for a $750 million investment advisory firm. Prior to that, he was managing director and portfolio manager at Trust Company of the West and CMB Investment Counselors.
Tom has been interviewed by the Wall Street Journal, Investor’s Business Daily, Barron’s and Money Magazine, among others. He is a member of the Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center Foundation and the City of Claremont Investment Committee. A devoted reader of history and economics, he is also a golfer and gardener. |
